Foil Wound Coils
This is a cyclotron,
which provides curie levels of radioisotopes for patient use every
day in positron emission tomography. Everson Tesla supplies the single
continuous magnet coil, which allows for significantly lower power
consumption and heat dissipation. There are steep gradients in the
magnetic field, which improve the axial beam focusing.

45 Telsa
Everson Tesla
Incorporated demonstrated roll-forming methods for the manufacture of
coil c for the 45 Tesla Hybrid Magnet for the National High Magnetic
Field Laboratory. In addition, Everson Tesla insulated and V.P.I. the
double pancake coils. This series of coils represents the outermost
superconducting coils for the system, which is 1.7m in diameter.
The magnetic field generated from this coil c is 8.5 Tesla.

60 Tesla Solenoid Magnet
Shown here is
an inner coil of a nine coil set used in a 60 tesla/ 100millisecond
pulsed, high-field resistive electromagnet. The coil is fabricated
by tightly fitting a high-strength, high-stiffness, stainless steel
reinforcing shell around a high-strength, tape-insulated copper
conductor that is wound on a mandrel.

Ion Beam- Saddle Coil
This is a dipole
saddle coil, which is water-cooled and uses a B-stage tape as part
of the insulation system. These dipole coils are used in bending
magnets for Ion Beam Implantors. The semiconductor industry uses
implantors for wafer processing.

31.
Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory
Everson Tesla supplied
both the polodial and torodial field coils for the National Spherical
Torous Experiment. These were precision18ft coils wound on mandrels
with tight tolerances using B-stage resin. They were then nested
together with a clearance of .0010.

Brookhaven National Laboratory
Everson Tesla
Incorporated completed the large 18ft dipole coils and stacked laminations
for the energy Booster to the Alternating Gradient Synchrotron at
Brookhaven. The Booster accelerates the ions to a high speed, which
produces a stronger magnetic field. This Booster to the A.G.S. is
needed to support the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider.

33.
Max Plank Institute - Germany
A superconducting
split-pair magnet system used for magnetic guiding of an electron
beam for scientific research. Each half of the superconducting coil
can be energized independently to produce a maximum central field
with high homogeneity or a zero central field with maximum gradient.
Low liquid helium consumption is achieved by using a single-stage
Gifford-McMahon (GM) cryocooler to conduction-cool the intermediate
radiation shield. The system also incorporates a unique dual high-temperature
superconductors (HTS) and traditional vapor-cooled magnet current
leads combination.

Rotating Field Coils
Everson Tesla
Incorporated has manufactured many large salient pole strap wound field
coils. By utilizing brazing technology developed in manufacturing
turbine generator coils we can readily join extended turns into
a wound field coil as shown. Together with waterjet cutting of lead
terminations we can create any coil connection.

Generator Coils
Everson Tesla
Incorporated can quickly produce large quantities of motor and generator
stators and rotors to supplement or replace current production lines.
We have recently produced 10,000 stators and rotors for use by a
generator OEM.
