High Voltage Stator Coils
Everson Tesla Incorporated
fabricated hard coils featuring "B" stage class "F" temperature
insulation. Coils were used in re-wind of large power generator.
Coils supplied with all connecting and winding materials including
wedges.

9. Klystron Tube Magnet Assembly
Everson Tesla recently
teamed with the Microwave Power Tube Products Division of an OEM
to design and build a 150 Mw S-band Klystron unit for DESY. Everson Tesla's
responsibilities included the design and assembly of the liquid-cooled,
foil conductor, electromagnet and auxiliary gun coil assembly to
be used for electron beam focusing.

Beam line Quad & Gantry Dipole Magnets
Everson Tesla
manufactured eighteen 45° and six 135° dipole magnets for
use in the patient treatment gantries at the Loma Linda Proton Beam
Therapy Facility. Additionally, sixty-seven identical quadrupole
magnets were fabricated for the proton beam line. The 45° bending
magnets were approximately one meter long and the 135° bending
magnets were approximately 3 meters long configured in a circular
arc. Recently Everson Tesla began a design for the mass production of
these magnets for multiple systems production.

Sextupole and Trim Quadrupole Magnets, Brookhaven National Lab,
RHIC Project
Everson Tesla
fabricated 400 sextupoles and trim quadrupoles for the Relativistic
Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) in 1994 and 1995 for Brookhaven National
Laboratory. The primary purpose of these magnets is to reduce the
natural chromaticity and to correct field imperfections in the dipole
magnets. These magnets were all delivered on time and within budget.

Fermilab Main Injector Ring Dipoles
In 1997 Everson Tesla
completed production of 738 main injector dipole coils that served
to improve the luminosity of Fermilab's Tevatron. These water-cooled
coils are pulsed to 10,000 amps with a maximum hold time of 1.2
seconds and a ramp rate of 1 second. They were manufactured from
25 mm by 100 mm hollow conductor wound in a single layer. The coils
consist of roughly equal numbers of 6 meter and 4 meter long coils.
Each set of upper and lower coils consists of one coil with 3 1/2
turns and the other with 4 turns.

13.
Separator Magnet System
This technology
utilizes a very rapidly pulsed (30 kHz) 2 Tesla resistive magnet system,
including a 25 kiloamp power supply, to impart paramagnetic properties
to various materials from shredded automobiles and appliances. The
resulting system is able to separate these materials into cleaner,
higher value recyclable product streams. |

High Voltage Stator Coils
Everson Tesla Incorporated
refurbished a set of high voltage generator stator coils for a South
American utility. The coils were removed from a generator and sent
to EEC. The coils were stripped of all old insulation, re-shaped
and re-insulated with all new Class "F" insulation. The coils along
with all winding material were returned to customer for rewinding
the generator.

NJT AC Traction Motors
Everson Tesla Incorporated
teamed with an OEM to manufacture 700 plus traction motors which
were used in high speed train cars at New Jersey Transit Authority.
THE MJA-300-5 traction motor is a 3-phase squirrel cage type asynchronous
motor with separate ventilation. The motor output is 125 hp and
a speed
of 3200 rpms.

16.
Baltimore AC Traction Motors
Everson Tesla Incorporated
teamed with an OEM manufacturer and built 116 plus traction motors
used on light railed vehicles that operate from downtown Baltimore
to BWI airport. The MJB 260-1 traction motor is a 3-phase squirrel
cage type asynchronous motor with separate ventilation. The motor
output is 155 KW and a speed of 2960 rpms.

17.
AC Stator Coils Medium and High Voltage
Everson Tesla Incorporated
fabricates both medium and high voltage stators used in transportation
and power generation. Turn and ground insulation temperature varies
from Class "F" to Class "H" for impregnated and unimpregnated coils.
These coils are manufactured to OEM or customer specifications.
