1.
Cryofree Superconducting Magnet System
A
unique cryogen-free superconducting split-pair magnet system used
for magnetic annealing applications in the semiconductor industry.
Each superconducting coil half is a complete independent unit, conduction-cooled
by a 4 Kelvin two-stage Gifford-McMahon (GM) cryocooler. The system
also incorporates high-temperature superconductors (HTS), bismuth-based
tapes for low thermal loss. The central magnetic field region is
enhanced and shaped by external iron poles.

2.
Semiconductor Magnetic Annealing Wafer Processing Magnet Systems
Everson Tesla
teamed with a major semiconductor tool manufacturer to design and
manufacture a complete magnetic annealing product for use in the
manufacture of epitaxally produced magneto-resistive devices for
read-write data storage heads. Under this work, Everson Tesla maintains
responsibility for the Helmholtz magnet system as well as overall
systems-integration responsibility for the magnet, power supply,
precision oven, coolant system, vacuum system, and controls. Fully
qualified systems are now installed and operational at several customer
locations.

3.
5 Tesla Tilted Superconducting Magnet System for Stockholm University
For this project
Everson Tesla was responsible for the design, fabrication, and testing
of a complete 5T, 152 mm bore, superconducting magnet and cryogenic
system. Major components included: closed-cycle refrigerator, 77
Kelvin shielded cryostat, high uniformity solenoid magnet, 45°
angled beam tube, power supply, and instrumentation. This magnet
system met or exceeded all customer performance requirements and
has provided trouble-free operation for nearly three years.

4.
Helium Dewar
An all-welded
stainless steel liquid nitrogen shielded liquid helium dewar with
a central top-loading exchange-gas sample insert.
|
|
5.
Nitrogen Cryostat
A variable temperature
liquid nitrogen cryostat. A rectangular tail allows the sample region
to be located within the pole gaps of a resistive electromagnet
to perform Hall effect experiments.

6.
Edge Wound Rotor Coil
Everson Tesla Incorporated
is a manufacturer of large edge wound rotor coils. Coils are cut,
edge bent into "C" pieces, annealed, brazed and insulated turn-to-turn.
Many of these rotor coils have punched or water-jet cut cooling
vents.

7.
Inductor Heater Coil
Everson Tesla Incorporated
repairs large induction heater coils for the steel industry. Repairs
include replacing some cooling circuit turns, re-insulation and
varnish treatment. These coils are used in the process of melting
steel.
