For decades Everson Tesla has harnessed new technologies to supply innovative design solutions to the mining industry.

From concept model to prototype to volume production, Everson Tesla has applied its expertise in design and material selection to build products that can withstand the harsh mining environment.

These have included highly specialized motors for ore and petroleum drilling, crushing and extracting equipment as well as propulsion motors for the largest ore movers. New concepts for linear motors have been developed to transport minerals from the mine site to the refinery.

New advances in magnetics also continue to play a critical role in mining applications. Rising above the simple electromagnets, Everson Tesla has been involved in programs for clay separators from construction of early resistive solenoid coils to the development of cryogen-free superconductive magnet separation systems. In addition, sophisticated paramagnetic devices have been built for the removal of geological contaminants, such as sulfur-bearing materials.
