For several decades Everson Tesla has utilized innovative technologies to provide unique solutions and superior quality for marine applications. From concept modeling and prototyping of navigational and mine detection equipment to volume production of generators for nuclear propulsion systems, Everson Tesla gained the expertise in design and material selection to meet even the most challenging marine applications.

Long a key supplier to the Navy's carrier and submarine propulsion systems, these technologies have been incorporated into high-performance pumps for deep-water petroleum extraction. Conversely, Everson Tesla is working with a customer to optimize small electric motor technology for sailboat auxiliary applications.

Everson Tesla is also involved in developing and implementing linear motor technology for a variety of marine applications from mammoth carrier-based aircraft launch and recovery systems to precise positioning of weapon and navigational systems. New advances in superconducting materials and advanced magnet and coil designs continue to open new areas of opportunity including high-performance mine sweeping and vibration isolation systems, and small, advanced generators and High Temperature Superconducting motors to support the totally electric fleet of the future.
